CYMBIDIUM CARE
Before inserting cymbidiums into an arrangement,
recut the stems and add the flower food to the water. Beware
of temperature extremes and ethylene exposure. Keep the flowers
at a temperature between 40 F to 50 F. Cymbidiums do not hold
up well in temperatures below the pollen because it will result
in premature death. When placing flowers in bouquets or containers,
do not overcrowd or allow the flowers to get tangled.
DENDROBIUMS CARE
Submerge dendrobiums in a room
temperature bath for 15 to 20 minutes. Cut about 1
inch of the stem underwater, then place the flowers in floral
preservative solution. Required storage temperature in 45
F. Avoid ethylene exposure.
